RALLY INFORMATION

Chichester harbour is one the undeveloped coastal areas in Southern England. Bright wide expanses and intricate creeks, a major wildlife haven and among some of Britain’s most popular boating waters.

A premier marina so berth holders can use their free nights

Chichester Marina is located at the eastern end of Chichester Harbour, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty that offers a myriad of quiet anchorages to discover. It is a locked marina and has shallow approaches at some states of tide.

1800: Welcome Drinks on the Pontoon (bring your own drink) Between E and F pontoon

Saturday

Daytime: No organised activity

1900: Last Night of the Proms rally dinner.

Please Note: This event is meal plus entertainment.
You must pay for a meal to attend the Last Night of the Proms Live

Chichester Yacht club are hosting us in the Quarterdeck. They will provide a TV, large screen and a projector so we can watch BBC Last Night at The proms live.

Menu - includes the Last Night of the Proms Entertainment

Price does not include service - Please tip staff for their service.

Please wear red, white or blue if possible and bring you handheld Union Jacks to wave.
We will decorate The Quarterdeck with PSYC bunting and flags.

Sunday

11:00 A walk along the foreshore/ public footpath to The Crown and Anchor at Dell Quay.

Option 1. Bring your own picnic to eat before or after drinks at The Crown and Anchor.

Option 2. Book yourself a table to eat lunch at The Crown and Anchor.

Monday

Depart Chichester Marina at your leisure.
High tide Portsmouth is 14.23 so it is likely that the lock will be on free flow either side of this time but do check with the lock keeper on the day.

Cowes Yacht Haven is the first marina on the west of the Medina river, before the chain ferry. Located in the heart of Cowes, it offers any state of tide access and full range of amenities for mariners, including chandleries and the all important latest clothing fashions.

Friday Night

18.00 BYO 'Pontoon drinks' on the CYH Veranda

followed by (optional - preregistration required)

19.30 Evening BBQ at the 'Pontoon View Bar & Kitchen' (CYH)

The Kitchen's BBQs will be set up in front of the Marquee with the option to dine inside, or out, depending on the weather.

Registration is required, but there is no need to pre-order, as all items on the menu are included 'buffet style' for £24.50/head. Payment to be made on the night. (Cancellation policy applies)

* BYO drinks will not be permitted at the BBQ but there is a fully licensed bar.

Saturday

10.30  Sugar Store, Shepards Marina - Coffee and talk with Cowes Harbour Master, Captain Jon Kidd. Learn a little about the history and work of the Cowes Harbour Commission, its statutory authority and responsibilities, commercial operations, and oversight of the many world famous sailing events, including this year’s Cowes Week Bicentenary Celebrations.

19.00 EOS Rally Dinner at the Island Sailing Club

Pre orders are required with payment taken directly by ISC on the night. 10% discount will be available on the club's wine list

A day of rest with free time - stay on to shop or eat out with friends.

Weather permitting and with sufficient interest, we may organise a Sunday Lunchtime "Dinghy Safari" to the Folly Inn - Please watch the WhatsApp Group
