Mike O'Meara is a former Royal Navy Clearance Diver and Chairman of the Historic Diving Society based in Gosport. The Society has a museum in Stokes Bay which is due to re-open after extensive renovations. Mike will present stories from the archives of the Diving Museum, Gosport.

This includes the remarkable history of the 1981 salvage operation to recover 465 gold bars from the wreck of HMS EDINBURGH. Sunk by a U Boat in 1942 HMS EDINBURGH lay 800 feet down in the freezing waters off Murmansk, her cargo of wartime gold mixed with unexploded munitions and locked behind 4 inch thick armour plates.
