Rally Extravaganza Yarmouth Review

Now that we’ve had a chance to catch our breath after the boat rally we wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part and supported the event. 15 boats in total attended our rally in Yarmouth.

Drinks on the pontoon started it off along with a sing-a-long. We never knew there was so much talent in the club!

Friday we left to walk to the See Saw searchlight  and ended up walking to The Hut and although we didn’t have lunch there we had a nice lunch on the seafront. The evening spent at On The Rocks was a great time had by all with fantastic food and attentive staff.

Saturday was a talk and lifejacket check by the RNLI. The guys were very thorough and quite a lot of us shocked as to how out of date our lifejackets were.  A serious lesson learned by all. After the talk a very informative tour of the lifeboat and then drinks in the Wheatsheaf after.

Saturday evening we went to the Royal yacht club for dinner sadly that was the last night of the rally for us as we had to leave early Sunday morning. Mark was heading off to the USA for work.

P.S. My apologies for having to cancel the movement and stretch class on the Sunday due to our departure.
